In its latest collaboration, a T-Level Workshop is being held at City & Guilds Giltspur Street offices. For this event the CCATF and City & Guilds have teamed up with Mark Farmer (pictured), author of the ‘Modernise or Die’ report on the skills challenges facing the sector.
The aim of the workshop is to have a robust discussion around construction skills, the changing landscape, and how it is possible to incorporate the ideas from Modernise or Die into technical education in the construction sector.
Attending the event will be a number of high profile organisations representing construction companies, learning providers and other organisations all of whom are working to underpin the success of skills development and apprenticeship programmes within the construction sector.
Speaking about the event CCATF Chairman Martyn Price commented “Having announced our collaborative agreement with City & Guilds earlier this year we are excited to be working closely together once again and in this instance delivering meaningful interventions such as this workshop. It is through such events that we will continue to drive value into our partnership with City & Guilds and, equally importantly, provide CCATF members and other skill agenda stakeholders with the opportunity to improve their understanding of these critical developments in the learning, skills and apprenticeships landscape”.
