Constructure Announces Sponsorship and Support of Construction Sport

By building teams, we save lives.

Leading construction sector consensus organisation Constructure is proud to announce its sponsorship and support of Construction Sport (www.constructionsport.com) an initiative dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing across the construction industry through sport, teamwork, and positive social connection.

The construction sector has made significant progress in recent decades in improving physical health and safety on-site, with fatalities falling as a result of stronger protocols and awareness. However, mental health remains one of the industry’s most pressing challenges, with construction workers continuing to experience disproportionately high rates of stress, poor mental wellbeing, and suicide.

Construction Sport was created to address this challenge head-on. By providing sporting opportunities for construction workers, the initiative creates safe, inclusive environments where individuals can step away from the pressures of work, build meaningful connections, and enjoy much-needed downtime. Through team sport, Construction Sport helps participants release stress, strengthen social bonds, and support their mental wellbeing.

Constructure’s decision to support Construction Sport reflects a strong alignment in values and ambition. Both organisations share a commitment to improving mental health outcomes in a sector that has traditionally struggled with wellbeing issues, and both recognise the importance of proactive, preventative approaches that go beyond the workplace.

Speaking about the agreement, Christopher Selby, Head of Marketing an Communications commented;
“We are proud to support and be associated with Construction Sport. Mental health and wellbeing remain critical issues within our industry, and initiatives like Construction Sport play a vital role in creating positive change. By encouraging connection, teamwork, and time away from daily pressures, Construction Sport is making a real difference to people’s lives.”

Construction Sport’s fonder Steve Kerslake (pictured above) commented;

“This is a significant collaboration that we are delighted to announce. Our experience of Constructure and its reach into the sector both supports and highlights the importance of industry collaboration in tackling mental health challenges at scale. This partnership will undoubtedly help expand access to sporting opportunities and strengthen the initiative’s ability to reach construction workers across the sector”.

Constructure looks forward to a long and successful collaboration with Construction Sport, working together to promote healthier minds, stronger teams, and a more supportive construction industry.
